AIED - mashup
Over the last few weeks I've used Google Gemini for a wide variety of things, including doing some of the Google Coursera courses on AI introduction. I've used it both for my my day job as well as personal interests. The more formal things I've used it for of late:
Graphic & Interface Design Guidance: Worked through iterative layout refinements for digital graphics and interfaces. This included tweaking visual design details, such as adjusting button placements, refining label text, and modifying border styling for targeted promotional materials.
Technical & System Troubleshooting: Used Gemini to research and diagnose technical infrastructure issues, including evaluating Remote Desktop Services event logs to troubleshoot connection errors and network protocols. Addressed system administration tasks, such as registering DLL files and reviewing merchant surcharge compliance logic.
Resume & Career Optimization: Collaborated on updating and condensing a resume into a single-page format that highlights my many years in IT, database administration, and data implementation experience. Once I reviewed the suggestions, I asked Gemini to move some of the details around to better fit the highlights and minor mentions I still wanted to keep. I wanted to frame my more modern interest skills in AI tools alongside my historical experience in legacy and modern software architecture.
